The Opportunity

  • $110,073- $119,132 (depending on exp.) + 17% super + leave loading
  • Full-time (35 hours week), Continuing role

This role is a key position within the Division of Research & Enterprise providing high level executive administrative support to Bronwyn Fox, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research & Enterprise (DVCRE).  The role entails responding to complex enquiries using judgement and initiative while using considerable technical skills and discretion when making decisions. The role reports to the Director of Operations; however, will take direction from the DVCRE on a day-to-day basis.

Who you are

You have extensive experience supporting senior executives, with significant management and or executive-level support skills. Your highly developed organisational abilities enable you to work flexibly, prioritise tasks, and meet competing deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.   

You’ll also have the ability to work well under pressure and assess complex requests, including sensitive and confidential matters using judgement and initiative, and strategically escalate as needed.

Advanced proficiency in computer systems, including the Microsoft Office suite and enterprise tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills will enable you to produce high-level correspondence, reports and data analysis.

You will be committed to providing excellent customer service, managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines in dynamic environments and your strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills allow you to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

You can also demonstrate understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines, and knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities.
