The portfolio of Division of Societal Impact, Equity and Engagement (SIEE) are connecting the University with core stakeholders including philanthropists, alumni, government, volunteers, the media and the broader community. The Junior Data Assistant role encompasses database entry, data quality checking, data quality improvement and documentation, and is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Philanthropy Development department using the Customer Relationship Management database. The Junior Data Assistant will report to the Data & Analytics Manager and has no reports.
This role will:
• Provide general administrative support and assist with data quality improvement.
• Actively participate in on-the-job training for relevant tasks.
• Various data quality and health checks within internal systems including Reiser’s Edge and SIMs, escalation to manager if required.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for internal teams' use and how-to guides and manuals.
• Assist with data entry for a variety of projects and tasks.
• Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills and experience.
• Demonstrated experience exercising initiative to bring about an understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
